USB 2.0 High-Speed Isolator
Quickstart-Guide for ADQ-USB 2.0-ISO Series
Order of operation:
Connect the host port of the USB isolator with the USB port of your computer (matching USB cable included)
If the current consumption of the USB device is > 300 mA: Connect the input for the external power supply (U_EXT) with a matching power
adapter (recommended power adapter available as accessory, art. no. 133587*)
Connect the device port of the USB isolator with the USB device (e. g. USB oscilloscope)

The USB isolator is full transparent (no driver installation required)

The ALLDAQ USB 2.0 high-speed USB isolator provides electrical isolation between
host PC and USB device up to 500 V. It prevents from over-voltage and ground
loops which are often causing interferences.

This model is not certified for use in medical applications.

(Art. No. 130363): If you need more than 300 mA for your USB device, we recommend the power adapter (Art. No. 133587). This medical certified
power adapter provides up to 1 A for your USB device. Using this power adapter ensures that the specifications of the USB isolator are met.

Fuse:
The +5 V supply for the USB device is short-
circuit-proof and protected by a resettable
fuse. The reset time depends on the over-
load strength and can be some seconds.
