Install thumbturn, if applicable.
a. Install spring cage.

For thumbturn, install emergency privacy button.

Check thumbturn operation.
Confirm smooth operation. With door locked, cycling inside lever should rotate thumbturn
to vertical unlocked position and retract deadbolt.

Tighten screws.
Fully tighten mortise lock chassis mounting screws.

Install armor front.

Check lever operation.
Confirm smooth operation with no sticking.
If not operating smoothly, perform these steps:
a. Slightly loosen spring cage mounting screws.
b. Confirm function by cycling lever.
c. Temporarily slide lever onto spindle. Confirm lever is horizontal with no lever droop.
d. Retighten spring cage mounting screws.

Install surface mount screws.

Install lever/rose.
Tighten set screw
with 3mm hex key

With notch at bottom,
press against lever while
turning rose slightly
counter-clockwise to
align with grooves on
spring cage, then turn
rose 1/4 turn clockwise
to lock lever in place.
Release lever.
HINT:
Use supplied
band to more easily
turn the rose.
