Check that the engine stop lever moves freely and returns to it’s rest
position when released.

1. Open the fuel tank vent by turning the vent knob at least 2 or 3 turns

counterclockwise.

2. Turn the fuel valve lever to the ON position.

3. To start a cold engine, move the choke lever to the CLOSED 

position.

To restart a warm engine, leave the choke lever in the OPEN position.
