Section 5 Service Procedures
To reduce the risk of electric shock, fire, explosion, serious injury or death:
• Disconnect electric power to the washer before servicing.
• Never start the washer with any guards/panels removed.
• Whenever ground wires are removed during servicing, these ground wires must be
reconnected to ensure that the washer is properly grounded.

f. Loosen setscrew holding clutch to timer shaft.
Refer to Figure 34.
g. Place clutch on timer shaft and tighten
setscrew. Refer to Figure 35.
NOTE: When installing clutch, alignment of clutch
on timer shaft must be installed correctly in order to
have proper washer operation. Refer to Figure 35.
Make sure clutch moves freely after setscrew is
tightened.
TO INSTALL TIMER AND BRACKET IN
REAR CONTROL COIN SLIDE WASHERS
WITH LARGER COIN DRAWER
a. Carefully place timer and timer bracket down
inside meter case so tab on bracket sits in slot
inside meter case. Refer to Figure 36.
b. While holding timer bracket against rear of coin
vault, install two screws holding bracket to
meter case. Refer to Figure 36.
c. Make sure wire harness is routed along bottom
of meter case so it will not interfere with any
moving parts in meter case.
