Section 8 Service Procedures Unique to the Electronic Control Model Washers
To reduce the risk of electric shock, fire, explosion, serious injury or death:
• Disconnect electric power to the washer before servicing.
• Never start the washer with any guards/panels removed.
• Whenever ground wires are removed during servicing, these ground wires must be
reconnected to ensure that the washer is properly grounded.

72. SYMPTOM: WASHER WILL NOT AGITATE PROPERLY
Washer will not
agitate properly?
Broken, loose or incorrect
wiring?

By-pass pressure switch to allow agitation
without water in washtub.
With power cord unplugged, remove and insulate
wire from terminal “P6” on control.

Correct wiring.
With loading door closed, plug in power cord.
Choose cycle and press GO pad.
