LINE-OUT Pressure Check
All installations without optional
DRAG-BRAKE
Test Equipment:
•
(1) 1,000 psi (6,895 kPa) Gauge (K371, L39)
•
(1) 5,000 psi (34,474 kPa) Gauge (C805, R371, R42)
Connect pressure gauge to test port:
• RO
NOTICE
The values in Table 3-6 are based on
information available at time of publishing.
Refer to the service/maintenance manual
supplied with your dozer to verify the
available pilot pressure.
Instructions
1. With the engine shut off, connect pressure gauge in
line on the RO hose at the control manifold.
2. Start dozer and set to high-free idle.
3. Measure pressure with the control lever in the LINE-
OUT position.
4. Pressure should be as specifi ed in Table 3-6.
If the LINE-OUT pressure is not as specifi ed in Table 3-6,
check for:
1. Improper pilot supply pressure.
2. Malfunctioning control lever.
3. Leaking pressure hoses or fi ttings.
4. Restriction in pressure hose or manifold port.
