Enabling the VCStack Feature
The default setting for the VCStack feature is disabled. The following
procedure explains how to enable it.
Note
This procedure requires reseting the switch. Some network traffic
will be lost if the switch is connected to an active network.
To enable the stacking feature, perform the procedure in Table 13.

Start a local management session
on the switch. For instructions,
refer to “Starting a Local
Management Session” on
page 145.
awplus> enable
awplus#
Enter the ENABLE command to
move from the User Exec mode to
the Privileged Exec mode.
awplus# configure terminal
Enter configuration commands, one per line. End
with CNTL/Z.
awplus(config)#
Enter the CONFIGURE
TERMINAL command to move to
the Global Configuration mode.
awplus(config)# stack enable
% The device needs to be restarted for this change
to take effect.
awplus(config)#
Enter the STACK ENABLE
command to activate VCStack on
the switch.
awplus(config)# exit
awplus#
Enter the EXIT command to return
to the Privileged Exec mode.
