session on the switch. For
instructions, refer to “Starting a
Local Management Session” on
page 145.

move from the User Exec mode
to the Privileged Exec mode.

Enter the SHOW STACK
DETAIL command to confirm
that the designated ports are
now trunk ports. (The status of
the ports should be Down at this
point because the ports are not
cabled yet.)
