Performing a
RAM Check
If you want a complete RAM check, you must click the RAM Check
button (at the bottom of the browser window). The AT-VP504E FXO is
restarted in order to perform the RAM check. If the AT-VP504E FXO is
in use when you click RAM Check, it is not restarted and the RAM
check is not processed. A message informs you of this situation.
If the AT-VP504E FXO is not in use when you click RAM Check, a
message informs you that the unit is about to restart to perform a RAM
check. Approximately 10 to 20 seconds after receiving this message,
you can request the AT-VP504E FXO web pages again to see the
result of the RAM check (displayed in the Overview and Configuration
web pages).
Performing a
ROM Check
If you want to perform a ROM check, you must click the ROM Check
button (at the bottom of the browser window). If the AT-VP504E FXO
is in use when you click ROM Check, the ROM check is not processed.
A message informs you of this situation.
If the AT-VP504E FXO is not in use when you click ROM Check, a
ROM check is performed. A message informs you of the ROM check
result.
Changing the
Password/User
Name
You can use your won set of user name and password to protect the
Configuration web page.
To change the current user name and password:
1.
Click the Change Password/User Name link of the menu
frame.
If you are accessing the configuration pages for the first time,
the following dialog box opens:
ROM check
Lets you know if the ROM on the AT-VP504E FXO
was corrupted. A ROM check is executed each
time the AT-VP504E FXO is restarted. See
“Performing a ROM Check” on page 50
for more
details.
