IP address prefix
In order to dial an IP address, a prefix must be
dialed first.
•
Prefix consists of 1 to 4 digits from [0-
9, *, #].
•
Default prefix is [**].
•
When the IP address prefix is
recognized, the IP address dialing
rules are applied. See
Table 25 on
page 59
.
•
When the IP address prefix is
recognized, the One digit speed dial,
the End of Dialing Character and the
Assume End of Dialing after n digits
rules are not applied.
•
When the IP address prefix is
recognized, the Assume End of
Dialing after n seconds rule is still
applied.
•
In order to dial an IP address, the IP
address prefix must be the first digits
to be dialed. Otherwise the IP
address prefix is not recognized.
