TROUBLESHOOTING
Before calling a service technician, please check the following for a possible cause of the symptom and
some solutions. If the problem persists, unplug the TV and call for service.
General Problem/Solution
No picture, no sound
Check whether the main plug has been connected to a wall outlet.
Check whether you have pressed the POWER button on the TV set
Check the picture contrast and brightness setting.
No sound, picture 0K
Check the volume.
Sound muted? Press the MUTE button.
Try another channel, the problem may be with the broadcast.
Are the audio cables properly installed?
Remote control does not work
Check to see if there is any object between the product and the remote control, causing obstruction.
Are the batteries put with the correct polarity? (+ to + and – to -)
Correct remote operating mode set: TV, VCR, a.s.o?
Install new batteries.
Power is suddenly turned off
Is the sleep timer set?
Check the power control settings. Power Interrupted.
No broadcast on station tuned with auto activated.
No or poor color or poor picture
Adjust the color in menu option.
Keep the TV at a sufficient distance from the VCR.
Try another channel, maybe it is an exit broadcasting signal problem.
Are the video cables properly installed?
Activate the function to restore the brightness of the picture.
Note: Switching the Picture mode and adjusting the parameters will change the energy efficiency of the
device. The prompt "Do you want to continue? This may result in higher energy consumption" will pop
up. Please confirm whether to continue.
Horizontal/vertical bars or picture shaking
Check for local interference, such as an electrical appliance or power tool.
Poor reception on some channels
Station or cable product experiencing problems. Tune to another station.
Station signal is weak, reorient the antenna to receive the weaker station.
Check for sources of possible interference.
Lines or streaks in pictures
Check the antenna (Change the antenna direction)
No output from one of the speakers
Adjust balance in menu option.
