5 - INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE 
 

INCONVENIENCES

CAUSES

5.10 OTHER SUGGESTIONS FOR THE TRACTOR DRIVER 

Inconvenience

Excessive shredding of product    

1  lift the machine slightly off the ground and adjust the wheels for a better 

height (the shredders shouldn’t touch the ground with the blades)   

2  increase speed 

Poor shredding product 

1  lower the machine slightly into the ground   

2  reduce speed 

3  don't work on terrain that is  too wet   

Blockage of rotor   

1  terrain is too wet  

2  lift the machine off the ground   

3  reduce speed   

4  avoid working if grass is too tall     

5  clean well the rotor sides and remove objects from its supports to avoid 

excessive overheating 

The machine bounces or vibrates 
on the ground   

1  Objects are stuck among the blades  

2  Blades are not assembled properly  

3  replace damaged or broken blades   

4  rotor out of shape, its central part has  been damaged by some external 

objects during working phase 

The machine’s work is not uniform 
over the whole width   

1  If machine is shredding more, for example, on the right side then the right 

side should be adjusted
