6 Operation
Simple operating functions can be accessed with the setting wheel (see
„Device overview“ on page 23). The Alpha IP app offers more functions.
Temperature
: Rotate the setting wheel to the right or to the left in or-
der to change the temperature. The set temperature is transferred to
the Alpha IP app, and displayed there. In automatic operation, the set
temperature is held until the next switch-over point is reached. Subse-
quently the set heating profile is re-activated. In manual operation, the
temperature is held until the next manual change.
Manual and automatic operation
: Press and hold the setting wheel
for 3 seconds in order to change between the operating modes Auto-
matic and Manual. In automatic operation, the heating profile set with
the Alpha IP app is active. In manual operation, the temperature can
be set via device or app and will be held until the next manual change.
Boost function
: Press the setting wheel quickly in order to activate the
boost function for quick heating-up. The boost function is active for 5
minutes.
In connection with the Alpha IP app, the Alpha IP Access Point offers
further configuration possibilities, for example:
Adaptation of the boost duration (up to 30 minutes)
Activation/deactivation of the operating lock
