2.3 Wiring
DANGER:
Total earth ground leakage current of loads connected to the unit should
not exceed 3.1 mA.
Tips:
•
The terminal blocks are torqued to 10.0 lb-in (1.2 Nm).
•
The holes in the cabinet’s bottom are

8
inch in diameter which can accept
1
/
2
inch
conduit connectors.
•
Before starting, turn off the utility power.
•
The utility and load lines must not touch the inside of the cabinet.
Tools and Materials Required
•
Slotted screwdriver for wiring the terminal blocks and removing the knockouts.
•
Hammer.
•
If used,
1
/
2
inch conduit connectors and armored conduit.
•
Use a minimum of 14 AWG jacketed copper wire to connect the line and the loads.
Procedure:

Remove the front cover (lift it up and
pull at the bottom.

Using the hammer and screwdriver,
remove the two

inch knockouts in
the cabinet’s bottom.

If used, install
1
/
2
inch conduit into the
holes.
4
Install the wires into the cabinet.
5
Wire the output terminal block.

Wire the input terminal block.
