802.1X
If 802.1x is used in your network, then you should enable this function for
the ADSL Router. These parameters are used for the ADSL Router to
connect to the authentication server.
Parameter
Description
802.1X
Authentication
Enable or disable this authentication function.
Session Idle
timeout
Defines a maximum period of time for which the connection is
maintained during inactivity.
Re-Authentication
Period
Defines a maximum period of time for which the
authentication server will dynamically re-assign a session key to
a connected client.
Quiet Period
Defines a maximum period of time for which the ADSL Router
will wait between failed authentications.
Server Type
RADIUS authentication server.
RADIUS Server
Parameters
Server IP
The IP address of your authentication server.
Server Port
The port used for the authentication service.
