When a problem occurs
If you encounter any problem, please turn off the power and turn it on again. If the device still cannot work,
please check the items in the table below. If the device fails, this manual will help you solve the problem.
Otherwise, please confirm that your system is connected correctly or consult your Alpine authorized dealer.
Common problems
Function cannot be used or displayed.
The ignition switch of the vehicle is off.

If connected as per the instructions, this device will not run when the vehicle's ignition switch is off.
Power cord (red) and battery wire (yellow) are connected incorrectly.

Check the wiring of the power cord and battery wire.
The fuse blows out.

Check the fuse of the device. If needed, replace it with a new fuse with appropriate specifications.
Failure occurs to the microcomputer inside due to interfering noise and so on.

Press RESET with a ballpoint or other pointed object.
MP3/WMA/ACC/M4A/WAV/FLAC/APE/DSD
Cannot play MP3/WMA/ACC/M4A/WAV/FLAC/APE/DSD.
Write error occurs. MP3/WMA/ACC/M4A/WAV/FLAC/APE/DSD format not compatible.

Ensure writing of MP3/WMA/AAC/M4A/WAV/FLAC/APE/DSD in a supported format. Please refer to
“About MP3/WMA/AAC/M4A/WAV/FLAC/APE/DSD” and write again with a format supported by this
device.
Audio
Sound is not output from the speaker.
The built-in amplifier does not output a signal.

The switch of the built-in power amplifier has been turned to “Off”.
Instructions for USB storage
USB transmission error
Communication failure or startup failure etc.

The problem can be solved by turning off/on ACC.
Over current
The USB connector has an abnormal current.
