Measuring procedure
7.2 Saving
To store the last measurement, use the
button from the “File” menu to move the cursor to
the “Save” option. The submenu opens when you
press the Operate button. Choose “Standard” and
press the Operate button again. The input menu
for the standard name will now appear.
You can select the appropriate letter at the position
indicated by the arrow by using the
buttons. You can use the
button to move the arrow to the next letter.
Enter any desired sequence of up to seven
alphanumeric characters. The last three positions
are reserved for use as a combination of digits.
They are automatically incremented each time the
measurement is stored.
After performing this input, press the Operate
button. If the name has already been assigned, a
warning is issued. You can overwrite the name or
enter a different one. The “Input Toler ances” menu
will now appear. Enter the appropriate values in the
manner described above, then press the Operate
button. The instrument will return to the previous
measurement mode.
Samples are stored in the same way, except that
no tolerances are entered.
