- The ash pan has not been closed.
- The bypass valve is not closed.
The stove does not get warm or burns poorly
- The air valve is closed.
- The bypass valve is closed when lighting the stove.
- The ash pan is full.
- The

ue draught is too low (e.g. due to weather conditions, such as mist, or the
fl
ue is
dirty).
- The pieces of wood burnt are too large or too damp.
- The pull is affected by ash behind the inner wall.
Smoke in the room
- The

- The door is opened before the
fl
ames have gone out and/or the bypass valve is opened.
- The
fl
ue valve isn’t opened.
- The pull is affected by ash behind the inner wall.

Assembly
The oven or the baking section on and/or the wood section under the Eclips are assembled
using the bolts supplied as shown in
fi
gure E.
Opening the Eclips Gourmet oven door.
The door of the Eclips Gourmet oven can be opened by pressing the bottom right-hand
corner of the door. See Figure E.
Use
The Eclips oven may only be used if the stove has been lit for at least 1 hour. Before this
time, the temperature in the oven is too low. We recommend that you use a suitable oven
thermometer when using the oven. In order to achieve the highest possible temperature in
the oven, you must burn the stove at maximum power and open the bypass valve. Always
use the mitten supplied when opening the oven door.
