SETTING THE OPERATION PARAMETERS
DIP SETTING
DESCRIPTION
9
Failure of input
SE
to
operate near the floor
When the set-up is activated, input
SE
will be deactivated (disconnected) at the
end of closing cycle when the distance from the floor to the lower margin of the
door leaf is less than 50 mm.
The setting should be used when installing advanced optosensors (optical
safety margin) on sectional doors with a wicket with a flat threshold. It is also
recommended to use it when there is an obstacle to the safety margin at the
end of doors closing cycle near the floor
Y
ATTENTION
! After the set-up is activated, check the safety device operation connected to input
SE
. Make several full cycles of doors movement and make sure that there are no false activations of
the safety device at the end of closing. Then place a 50 mm high obstacle on the floor (for example,
a wooden bar) and make sure that during closing the obstacle will be detected (the door leaf will
stop and fully open). It can be checked in the middle and along the edges of the door leaf. If neces-
sary, use the additional doors position setting to deactivate input
SE
near the floor (section 7.1).
After the set-up, the safety device operation connected to input
SE
should meet the requirements of
current standards. If the requirements are not fulfilled, the setting cannot be used

Failure of input
PH
to
operate at a distance from
the floor
When the set-up is activated, input
PH
will be deactivated (disconnected)
during closing cycle at a distance (H) from the floor to the lower margin of the
door leaf less than 300 mm (factory settings).
The setting is recommended to use if there is a obstacle to the photocells
(beam intersection) at the end of the doors closing, for example by elements of
doors design
Y
ATTENTION
! After the set-up is activated, check the safety device operation connected to input
PH
.
Make several full cycles of doors movement and make sure that there are no false activations of the
safety device at the end of closing cycle.
By using an obstacle, for example a wooden bar measuring 700 × 300 × 200 mm (special requirements
for a control sample are indicated in EN 12453 standard), check:
A
— when the doors are opened, a 300 mm high obstacle should be detected. If the obstacle is
placed on the floor within the doors opening or next to it on the side where the safety device is
installed, the doors should not close. Placing the obstacle during the closing cycle will lead to a stop
and a full opening (there should be no contact of the door leaf with the obstacle during detection). It
is checked in the middle and along the edges of the door leaf during closing at the incorrect position
of the door leaf (near the obstacle).
B
— if the door leaf is in the area of immediate activation of the photocells or below it, a 300 mm
high obstacle will not be detected (the doors will close, there should be no contact of the door leaf
with the obstacle).

If necessary, use the additional setting of doors position to deactivate input
PH
(section 7.2).
After the set-up, the safety device operation connected to input
PH
should meet the requirements
of current standards. If the requirements are not fulfilled, the setting cannot be used

ADDITIONAL SETTING OF DOORS POSITION
TO DEACTIVATE INPUT «SE»
The additional setting is active only when the final positions are configured (section 6), and
DIP9-
ON
and
DIP1-ON
switches are set (the doors are operated in pulse mode).
