DURING MOUNTING

ATTENTION!

The condition of all components and materials shall be suitable for use and com-

ply with applicable regulatory documents. The tools and materials used shall be fully operation-

al and complying with current safety regulations, standards and instructions.
The doors (application, design, mounting) shall comply with the safety requirements and char-

acteristics (EN 13241). Read the door installation and operation manual; follow its instructions

and recommendations. Incorrect installation or structural damage to the door structure may

cause serious injury.
The doors shall be in good operation condition, technically sound, properly balanced for man-

ual opening and closing (EN 12604). Uncontrolled dangerous door leaf movements are not al-

lowed after stopping. The doors shall be equipped with safety devices, protection system against

door leaf falling and devices (switches) protecting from loosening of the door leaf lifting rope.
The product shall not be used if the wicket door is open. The operation is allowed only if the wicket

door is closed. The design of the gate must ensure that the product is switched off (the gate must

be equipped with a wicket sensor / not included in the product package) if the door gate is open.
The hazardous part of the door and drive shall be at the height of at least 2.5 m above the floor or

other access level. Otherwise, the hazardous areas shall be protected from people getting injured.
The door leaf shall not have any apertures with the diameter of more than 50 mm or uncovered

protruding parts a person can grab or stand on during door opening. Otherwise, use the man-

ual mode of the doors operation.
Parts of the door and the drive shall not block the walkway or general access areas.
To eliminate hazards, remove all unnecessary and loose parts (cables, ropes, angles, chains,

etc.) and turn off all unused equipment before installation. Remove or disable mechanical door

locking devices (locks, latches, etc.) that are not involved in the operation of the drive system

Make sure that the product is used correctly (see Section 2 ‘Product description’). The installation lo-

cation of the product shall comply with the declared temperature operating range indicated on the

product label. Make sure that there is enough space for installation and operation of the product.
The surface for installation of the drive system devices shall be durable as it serves a reliable sup-

port eliminating vibration. Otherwise, take relevant measures to strengthen the installation site.
The control station and other stationary control devices should be located within the visibility

of the door at a height of at least 1.5 m and at a safe distance from moving elements. Control

devices should not be publicly available.
Make sure that the drive system devices are protected against accidental damage from passing

vehicles. Otherwise, provide protective means (fences).
Electrical network shall be equipped with protective earthing. Make sure that connections to

the earthing system is performed correctly.
Install safety devices, protective structures, maintain safe distances and clearance and proper set-

ting up the product to ensure protection against squeezing, impact, trapping, tightening and oth-

er hazards (EN 12604, EN 12453). Such safety devices as safety edge and light curtain shall com-

ply with the requirements of safety standards (EN 12978, EN 13849-1 at least category 2 PL = c).
When operating outside the door visibility area or when automatic closing is activated in the

settings, the photocells (or a comparable safety device) should be installed.
Both the drive and the entire drive system can be finally put into operation only when it is proved

that the doors and the structure they are built in comply with the requirements of the regulatory

Drive system is a set of devices (electromechanical drive with electronic control unit, safety devices, control devices, warning

devices and sensors) that control door leaf movement and provide door operation safety.
