TESTING AND COMMISSIONING
Y
After the control command, specified number of LED flashes (
table

repeated 5 times every 3 s.
There are additional LEDs on the control unit for specialists (

TESTING AND COMMISSIONING
This is an important step in installing a drive system and its serviceability:
1. Read Section 1 ‘Safety rules and warnings’. All rules and requirements must be followed.
2. Read the operation manuals of the drive system devices (drive, safety devices, control devic-
es and others) and the door operation manual. All rules and requirements specified in the
manuals must be followed.
3. Using control buttons
and
, perform a full open-close cycle. Make sure that the door
moves in correct directions and stops in the end positions. The door leaf movement must be
smooth. Perform several complete cycles to detect possible errors of installation, incorrect
adjustment and setup, to check the reliability of fasteners and proper door and drive opera-
tion. If additional control devices are used, make sure that they work correctly.
4. Check if
button and the devices connected to input S (
table
2, connector
XP3
) stop the
door movement and block control commands for the door movement. For example, if the
door has a wicket, then in case the wicket is open the door must not move.
5. When using safety contact devices (safety edge) connected to input
SE
(
table
2, connec-
tor
XP7
), check that a 50 mm high object located on the floor can be detected during its
contact with the bottom edge of the door leaf (the door stops and opens). This is checked
in the middle and at the edges of the door leaf. If there is no confirmation of compliance
with the requirements of current safety standards for limiting impact force during closing
(EN 12453), then prior to the commissioning all relevant tests shall be conducted in accord-
ance with the current standards.
6. When using photocells and light curtains connected to input
PH
(
table
2, connector
XP7
),
verify their operation for compliance with the requirements of current standards (EN 12453)
and for lack of interaction with other devices. When the door is closing, special control sam-
ples (the requirements are specified in the standard) must be detected along the entire width
of the door opening (the door stops and opens).
7. Check if the applied signal devices operation (signal lamp or traffic light) is correct and flawless.
Operation of light indication devices shall comply with the relevant settings (
table
5,
DIP3
).
8. When the checkup is finished, make sure that all covers, protective and fixing elements of the
drive and other devices that have been opened or removed, are placed back.
