MAINTENANCE SERVICE
Commissioning of the drive system can be carried out only after successful verification. Partial
commissioning or temporary operation is not permitted.
1. Prepare and store the technical documentation for the automation kit. The documentation
shall contain the following: installation and operation manual, maintenance schedule, dia-
gram of the drive system and laying of electric cables.
2. Provide the Customer (owner / operating company) with the completed ‘Installation and op-
eration manual’.
3. Prepare a ‘Maintenance Schedule’ and provide the Customer with it. Instruct about the main-
tenance rules.
4. Instruct the Customer of possible dangers and risks and the rules for safe operation. Inform
the Customer about the need to instruct the door operator of possible dangers and risks and
the rules for safe operation. The door operators shall confirm with personal signature that
they are aware of the rules for safe operation.
10. MAINTENANCE SERVICE
Perform scheduled maintenance as part of entire drive system at least once every 6 months or
3,000 full cycles of operation (depends on what comes first):
1. Read Section 1 ‘Safety rules and warnings’. All rules and requirements must be followed.
2. Carry out an external inspection for the integrity and absence of damage to the door, drive
and drive system devices.
3. Clean the drive, control station and other drive system devices from dust, dirt and moisture.
It is forbidden to use water jets, high pressure cleaners, acids or alkalis for cleaning.
4. Carry out an external inspection of the drive and control unit parts, paying attention to cor-
rosion and oxidation on them, breakage and wear signs. Assess the need for repair (replace-
ment of parts and units that do not provide sufficient reliability).
5. Check the integrity of electric cables and connections.
6. Make sure that the threaded connections are tightened properly (bolts, screws, nuts fixing
the drive, fixing of the drive system devices, etc.).
7. Release the drive (Section 4.3 ‘Drive release’) and make sure the door is balanced. The door
leaf shall be easy to move manually (EN 12604). After the movement is stopped (for exam-
ple, at the height of 1 m above the floor and half of the opening height) the door leaf must
not move spontaneously. Lock the drive.
8. Carry out the verification in accordance with the instructions in Section 9 ‘Testing and
commissioning’.
9. Fill in Section 15 ‘Information on the performed works’ of the manual.

ATTENTION!
After the end of service life of the product, the specialist shall assess the possibility
of further operation and the need for repairs (replacement of the most critical units and parts).
