As part of our QA process brown-colored shims are inserted
to set the correct gap for the electromechanical brake.
Remove these shims BEFORE powering on the turnstile.
There is one (1) motor shim located in the master cabinet;
one (1) motor shim located in the slave cabinet; and two (2)
motor shims located in the center cabinet (if applicable).
1. Remove each shim after the cabinet panel has been
removed by pulling firmly on the orange pull-tab
[Figure 9].

Lid Removal
1. Loosen the (4) thumbscrews under the lid (the thumbscrews are located at the end of the cabinet; two on each end; there is a
total of 4 thumbscrews) and remove the lid by lifting the lid carefully off the turnstile. See [Figure 8] for more details.
