Based on Monte’s battered 1987 DY62C, the MMY1 features the
broken-in vibe of a distressed spruce top and a laminated mahogany/
maple neck designed to withstand the intense stress of a Monte
Montgomery performance. The slope shoulder cutaway dreadnought
also includes System 600T MKII electronics for live performances.

Directly from the specifications of Bob Weir’s original prototype, but enhanced
with a distinctive 12th fret “bolt” inlay, the WY1BW is a cutaway folk design
that features a custom-designed preamp/EQ system utilizing an internal
condenser mic and bridge piezo blended with a unique crossover-based design.
The maple/herringbone body binding offers a subtle, but distinctive look.
