3.7 Copy & paste measured point clouds
To
copy existing point cloud
to the clipboard, open the
Point cloud
editor of the construction
stage containing the point clouds that should be copied. Select one or multiple point clouds
that you want to copy. Use the function
Copy measured point cloud
from the toolbar or from
the context menu. Instrument positioning information is preserved.
To
paste copied point cloud
, open the
Point cloud
editor of the construction stage where
the point clouds should be pasted to. Use the function
Paste measured point cloud
from the
toolbar or from the context menu.
Profiles are copied relative to the stationing on the axis. This means that you can paste
point clouds to a different construction stage or site. You can even copy point clouds
to a different project if you have two instances of Amberg Tunnel 2.0 running at the
same time.
3.8 Reposition measured point clouds
The point cloud measurement methods listed in the table below store the
positioning infor-
mation of the instrument
(measurements to control points) with the point cloud. If this posi-
tioning information is available, the coordinates of the point cloud points can be repositioned
based on the control points stored in Amberg Tunnel 2.0.
