Getting Started

Before First Use
Prior to using your Kettle, please read all the safety and operating instructions thoroughly.

Please ensure you follow the steps below before using this appliance. We recommend you

keep the original packaging for storing your Kettle when not in use.
1.  Unpack the product but keep all packaging material until you have made sure your new

Kettle is undamaged and in good working order. Plastic wrapping can be a suffocation

hazard for babies and young children, so ensure all packaging materials are out of their

reach.

2.  Remove the twist-tie which is securing the electrical cord. Uncoil the cord and

straighten it to remove any kinks. Do not use this product if these parts are damaged.

In case of damage, phone the After Sales Support line.

3.  Wipe the exterior housing of the Kettle with a damp cloth and then dry thoroughly. Do

not immerse the Kettle in water or other liquids.

4.  Place the Kettle on a flat, stable and dry surface to operate.
5.  Open the lid by lifting the lid from the jug, then fill with cold tap water, ensuring you do

not fill past the MAX level on the water level indicator.

6.  Place the jug back onto the power base.
7.  Plug the cord into a power outlet and switch on. Boil the water by pressing down the

power button.

8.  Once the water has boiled the Kettle will automatically power off.
9.   Discard the boiled water and refill with cold water.
10. Repeat this step twice before use (in total).

NOTE: The Kettle may emit a slight burning smell when it is first being used. Do not be

alarmed, this is normal and will cease with continued use.

  NOTE:

Please ensure you only use the power base supplied with the Kettle.
