Removing the Processor
1.
Turn off the computer, and turn it over and remove the battery (
page 2 - 5
).
2.
Locate the CPU cover and remove screws

3.
Remove the bay cover
.
4.
Remove screws
-

) from the heat sink in the order indicated on the label and disconnect the con-
nector
from the mainboard.
5.
Carefully lift the heat sink
(
Figure c
) up off the computer.
6.
Remove the screws
-
(
Figure d
) from the CPU bracket.
7.
Remove the CPU bracket
up off the computer.
