Configuring the RM4210 with Bullhorn Tools Software
After the unit has been activated, open Bullhorn Tools. Use Bullhorn Tools to complete the following
configuration tasks on the unit:
•
— The main Bullhorn Tools
Unit Overview
window displays current unit
information, Readings measurements, test message status, battery data, over-current relay status,
transmission schedule, and coupon information.
•
— Send a test message from the unit to verify communications.
•
— Units can be configured from a previously-saved template that contains unit
settings. Current unit settings are overwritten by the applied template. Unit settings can also be saved to
a template to save time when configuring multiple, identical units. Saved templates can be exported or
deleted.
•
Setting Transmission and Measurement Schedules
— Schedule when transmissions are sent to Bullhorn
Web and when measurements will be taken by the unit. You can create and apply either one or two
measurement schedules to a Reading.
•
— Set an install date and battery type for the unit.
•
Editing Settings for Coupon, Transducer, and Instant Off
— Edit the settings for these inputs.
•
Selecting Reading Measurement Schedules
— Select one or two measurement schedules for desired
Readings or none to disable a Reading.
•
— If an over-current event occurs, overcurrent protection will trigger. The test
coupon relay (switch) can be reset if it goes into an Open state due to an over-current condition.
•
— When available, the unit firmware can be upgraded.
