AMIBIOS Setup
AMIBIOS Setup has two parts:
·
STANDARD CMOS SETUP, and
·
ADVANCED CMOS SETUP.
STANDARD CMOS SETUP
STANDARD CMOS SETUP permits the end user
to configure and set system components
such as floppy drives, hard disk drives,
time and date, monitor type, and keyboard.
ADVANCED CMOS SETUP
ADVANCED CMOS SETUP allows the end user to
configure more advanced parts of memory
configuration, peripheral support, and
password support. ADVANCED CMOS SETUP is
discussed in Section 4.
