EISA Standards
The AMI EZ-Flex is fully compatible with both EISA and
ISA specifications and can run on either 80386, 80486SX,
or 80486-based systems, and needs no major architectural
changes to run on more advanced Intel microprocessors as
they become available.
Convenient, Reliable, Compatible
The AMI EZ-Flex system provides an easy-to-expand
foundation based on a few integrated circuits using state of
the art surface mount technology (on the CPU Cards),
which reduces cost, minimizes potential handling damage
and reduces the overall size.
The Result
The EZ-Flex architecture is an integrated EISA system that
is also ISA or AT® compatible. Using the AMI EZ-Flex
system, an OEM can construct computer systems that can
use one of many different microprocessors.
