The BIOS POST routine checks the expansion slots for a hard disk
controller, floppy controller, serial port controller, or parallel port
controller. If a hard disk drive controller is found, the onboard IDE
controller is disabled. If a floppy disk controller is found, the onboard
floppy controller is disabled. If a serial or parallel port controller is
found, the onboard serial or parallel port, respectively, is disabled.
Be sure to properly connect the cables to the berg connectors. Pin
one of each of the bergs is marked with a 1. Pin one of the cable is
usually denoted by a colored stripe on the cable.

J1 is a 2-pin single-inline berg. Connect the cable from the hard disk
LED activity light to J1.
