If the two offboard serial ports are assigned 3F8h and 3E8h (COM1
and COM3), the BIOS assigns the onboard serial ports to 2F8h and
2E8h (COM2 and COM4).
To use all four serial ports with the proper driver, assign both offboard
serial ports to IRQ4 and both onboard serial ports to IRQ3. If COM1
(3F8h) and COM2 (2F8h) are selected as the offboard COM ports,
SER1 on the motherboard is assigned to COM3 (3E8h) and SER2 on
the motherboard is assigned COM4 (2E8).

To use only the two offboard serial ports, change the I/O port
assignments to 3F8h (COM1) and 2F8h (COM2). Then assign IRQ4 to
COM1 and IRQ3 to COM2. Disable the onboard serial port IRQ via J6
and J9.
