1.1. GENERAL INFORMATION
1.1.1. SCOPE
This manual contains instructions for use in operating and
maintaining the TICO Thermal Imaging Clip-On. Throughout this
manual, the TICO Series will be referred to as the scope or TICO.

1.1.3. STORAGE
Storage of TICO should be done in the factory packing and after a
thorough PMCS as outlined in Section 4.1 of this manual. This will
ensure the scope remains in mission ready condition during stor-
age. Batteries should be stored separately from the scope.
The scope should not be placed on the floor, in any area exposed to
high temperatures or direct sunlight. Presence of acid and alkaline
vapor, as well as of other aggressive admixtures in the air is unac-
ceptable.
