Standby
When
“
Standby” is displayed the unit is between timed heat disinfection cycles.
Preheat
During the initial heating of the tanked water prior to the heat disinfection process the “Preheat” screen will be
displayed. Preheat cycle commences up to 2 hrs (adjustable) before timed heat disinfection commences.
Heatsan Operation
Following successful Preheat cycle the unit will initiate circulation of the heated water around the distribution loop.
During this stage the system temperature will be raised to its set disinfection temperature. The system will hold this
temperature for a minimum of 2 hours (adjustable).
Draw Off Period
Following the hold period, the system is set to allow a preset volume of water to be drawn off by the connected dialysis
equipment. The system will monitor draw off flow and volume during this period to ensure the preset parameters for
the dialysis machines are not exceeded.
Cooldown Period
Once the draw off period has either reached its end time or the preset volume of water has been taken in full by the
dialysis machines the unit will automatically go into cool-down. Cold water from the RO units will be gradually
introduced into the system and run to drain until the accepted temperature is achieved.
Drain in Operation
The final stage of the heat disinfection cycle is to drain the internal tank down completely. “Drain in Operation indicates
that the tank drain solenoid is in operation.
Minimum Hold
Period Reached
During the “Heatsan Operation” stage the system temperature must be held for a minimum of 2 hours (adjustable) at
the preset disinfection temperature. This display indicates that this part of the cycle has completed successfully and
that the system has received its full heat disinfection.
Disinfect Complete
Indicates that all stages of the heat disinfection process have completed successfully with no alarms and all preset
temperatures and hold times have been achieved.
Power Resumed
On resumption of power supply failure the system will register when power was resumed to the unit.
Hold Period
Temperature
Reached
Indicates that during the hold phase of the disinfection process the minimum disinfection temperature was achieved
and that it remained above this value for the duration of the hold period.
