4.6 Emissivity/Non-Greyness setting
The required emissivity/non-greyness correction can be set by setting the
Emissivity/Non-Greyness knob (see Fig. 6) to the required setting on the rel
-
evant scale.
To enable precision setting of the emissivity/non-greyness output, a voltage
output, proportional to the set value of emissivity/non-greyness, is available
between terminal 14 and 15 of the processor.
This output can be measured locally with a portable DVM. The output voltage
in mV, for a particular emissivity or non-greyness setting is calculated as fol-
lows:
For Emissivity:
output (mV) = 2000 x E
where E is the required emissivity setting
For Non-Greyness:
output (mV) = ((35.556 x NG) - 24.444) x 100
where NG is the required non-greyness setting
