3-4 | 3050-RM Moisture Analyzer
Utility Requirements
Electrical requirements
The 3050-RM Moisture Analyzer must be installed in a general purpose or
Division 2 area. It does not have an On/Off power switch so power must
be applied through a circuit breaker switch at the AC source.
Power connection can be made using the supplied power cord(s) ter-
minated with a locally approved wall socket plug, or
the analyzer can be hardwired.
Sample Temperature and Pressure Requirements
Inlet sample temperature:
0 °C to 100 °C ( 32 °F to 212 °F )
Optimum input gas temperature:
60 °C ± 5 °C ( 140 °F ± 9 °F )
For optimum performance, sample line should be heat traced to main-
tain a constant sample temperature.
Minimum input pressure:
138 kPa ( 20 PSIG )
Maximum pressure:
345 kPa ( 50 PSIG )
If necessary, a pressure regulator can be installed at the main process
shut-off valve.
