Fitting and Removing the Euro ramp
CAUTION!
Risk of injury when fitting or removing the Euro ramp.
The Euro ramp can fall over or fall to the ground. There is a
potential risk of injury through crushing and of material
damage.
Therefore:
Make certain that the vehicle is standing straight and
level.
Apply the vehicle's handbrake.
Do not loosen the Euro ramp's star grips or put the Euro
ramp into the vehicle until this has been done.
Remember that the Euro ramp weighs anything up to
75 kg.
Always lift the Euro ramp with the assistance of a sec-
ond person.
Always wear safety footwear and protective gloves
when fitting or removing the Euro ramp..
NOTE
Euro ramps with pivot bearings do not have star grips and
are firmly anchored to the vehicle. The mounting instruc-
tions must be observed to fit or remove Euro ramps with
pivot bearings to the vehicle.
5.6.1
Removing the Euro ramp
Loosen and remove the star grips.
Lift the Euro ramp out of the vehicle.
Place the Euro ramp onto a firm, even and level surface.
5.6.2
Fitting the Euro ramp
Lift the Euro ramp into the vehicle.
Align the Euro ramp to its anchorage points.
Screw the star grips in and tighten them fully.
