OPERATION
Qualification, training, incorporation of the staff
Only trained members of staff or staff under the instruction of a qualified person
may operate the Back-in-Box-Lift. We don’t assume any liability for any damage
results from improper operation.
Notes on safety regulations, warning of danger
The following should be read carefully and attentively, in order to avoid operation
faults and personal accidents!
The lift operator is responsible for observing the following safety functions- and
regulations and should have instructions for this purpose!
Particularly important informations in this operating instruction have been marked
by the following denominations:
REMARK: A remark give important informations to make a procedure comprehensible.
ATTENTION: Under the denomination ATTENTION special procedures have been listed
which have to be observed in order to avoid damages to the lift or to the vehicle!
WARNING: A warning indicate special measures which must be observed absolutely
in order to avoid injuries!
ATTENTION!
Ensure that advise regarding the special fuel tank on page 27 have
to be read and understood.
3.1
Getting in
1.
Switch off the ignition, switch on the vehicular hazard warning signal flasher.
1.1
Manual side door
Open side sliding door all the way until it rests in fully openend
position. (If the door is not openend to its full extent it will be damaged when
operating the lift)
1.2
Electric side door
Side sliding door must always open to its full extent so the lift can be operated
without touching the door.
(If the door is not opened to its full extent it will be damaged when operating the
lift)
2.
Take care that no person or object is in the extending area of the platform and
than push the button "out" till the platform will be extended to the final point
