5. Chimney and flue pipe
Chimney dimensioning takes place in accordance with EN 13384-1 and 2 or the country-specific
regulations. The chimney must have the temperature class T400 and an effective height of
minimum 4.5 m. The chimney cross-section must be adapted to the stove.
Carefully check that the chimney is sealed and that there is no leakage around soot hatches and
flue connections. Maximum chimney weight loading on the stove 120 kg.
Note that a flue with sharp bends and horizontal routing reduces the draught in the chimney. The
stove requires a draft in the chimney of at least –12 Pa. Maximum horizontal flue is 1 m, on the
condition that the vertical flue length is at least 5 m. It must be possible to sweep the full length
of the flue and the soot hatches must be easily accessible
