instructions.
EXPLANATION OF SYMBOLS USED
READ THIS OPERATING MANUAL BEFORE USING THE UNIT!
PROTECTIVE GOGGLES MUST BE WORN. Eye protection is
compulsory when using the device.
USE PROTECTIVE GLOVES. Protective gloves should be
used when carrying out certain jobs to increase operator
safety.
GENERAL WARNING SIGN. The content preceded by the
warning sign shall contain important information on the
safe use of the device
PURPOSE
The device is not intended for use in professional factories but
rather for use by do-it-yourself. The device is designed for lifting
vehicles with the total weight not exceeding P/N: 02478 -1500kg,
P/N: 02479 -2000kg. The jack must be used only for lifting or
lowering and must not be used to hold the raised vehicle. Use the
jack only for its intended purpose. Max. rated weight refers to the
maximum lift opening. Any use other than that described in this
manual is not in compliance with the intended use of the device.
Damage or injury resulting from improper use is the responsibility
of the user/owner and not the manufacturer. Please note that
our device is not intended for professional or industrial use. The
guarantee agreement does not apply if the device has been used
in craft or industrial facilities or for similar activities.
PRELIMINARY ACTIVITIES
Open the packaging and pull out the unit. Remove protective
film and transport securing (if fitted). Check that the appliance
and accessories have not been damaged in transit. Keep the
packaging until the warranty period has expired.
ATTENTION!
The device and its packaging are not for play!
Keep out of reach of children! Danger of swallowing or suffocation!
Steps to be taken before start-up. First check that all screw
connections are firmly tightened. Then check that all moving parts
are in good working order and that there are no cracks on the unit
which could affect its proper operation.
RULES FOR SAFE USE
WORKPLACE
• The workstation should be kept clean.
• You must ensure that it is well lit.
•
Insufficient lighting or a messy work area can cause accidents.
• The ground on which the lift is set up must be solid, stable and
durable. When using the jack, the weight of the vehicle being
lifted is transferred to the ground via the jack. If the ground is
uneven, unstable or of low mechanical strength, the jack may
shift, e.g. tip over, which may lead to dangerous situations.
• Keep children and bystanders away from areas where the lift
is used.
• Do not distract the user while operating the device may lead to
loss of control of the tool and result in personal injury.
GENERAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS - PERSONAL SAFETY.

Do not use the unit when you are tired or under the influence
of drugs, alcohol or medication as this may cause permanent
damage to your health.
• Wear protective gloves and goggles.
•
Ensure that the jack is positioned on a firm and stable base
before lifting.
• Lifting vehicles when the ground is unstable can damage the
vehicle and cause personal injury.
• Maintain a stable posture when working with the unit. The
correct working position ensures better control of the unit in
unforeseen situations.
• Dress appropriately. Do not wear loose clothing or jewellery.
Keep your hair, clothing and gloves away from moving parts.
Loose clothing, jewellery or long hair can be caught in moving
parts.
• Do not use the lift if you have not read this manual beforehand.
• Do not lift vehicles with a mass greater than the maximum
permissible for the type of lift. If necessary, use another device
with a higher load capacity.
• Lifting of vehicles with gross vehicle weight greater than the
maximum permissible weight can cause permanent damage
to the lift and create dangerous situations.
• Clean the unit regularly and check its technical condition.
Before using the device, check that moving parts operate
without jamming and are not blocked.
• The use of defective equipment can lead to dangerous
situations.
• Do not use a damaged lift. If necessary, inspect the unit and
have damaged parts repaired, preferably by an authorised
service centre.
• Repairing the unit yourself can lead to dangerous situations.
• Do not expose the lift to rain, snow or high temperatures.
• Do not use for purposes other than lifting motor vehicles.
• Do not alter the design of the lift.
• Do not leave the lift unattended when it is loaded.
• The operator must check the correct operation at all times to
avoid hazardous situations.
