1.6.7 Device Mount and Screw Back the Top Cover
The IOT400 series product has to be configured with a Windows configuration tool. Just find out a PC/NB with
an available USB port, and plug in the USB-to-Serial console cable into it; or use a Bluetooth-enabled NB to
configure the IOT400 wirelessly.
After you finished all the software configurations, you are ready to free the IOT400 and make it operate as
expected. You have to take the following actions for it.
1.
Power Off the IOT400, and remove the console cable / Bluetooth Module.
2.
Mount the IOT400 base enclosure on the planned location.
3.
Make sure all the wiring cables are running in position through the M16 connectors;
4.
Fasten tightly the external parts on the M16 connectors, holding the internal cables to
prevent from twisted along with the cable gland with care.
5.
Power On the IOT400, and wait until the Status LED becomes BLUE light to make sure it
booted up without problem.
6.
Screw back the Top cover with care. Make sure the surrounding rubber pad is in position
everywhere to keep the IP65 performance for water and dust proof.
