Safety air fil ter
•
Re mo ve the co ve ring (1).
•
Uns crew screws (2) and re mo ve fil ter co ver (3).
•
Re mo ve fo am ele ment (4) from the fil ter co ver.
•
Re mo ve pa per ele ment (5) from fil ter hou sing (6)
Clea ning the fo am ele ment:
•
Clean with warm soapy wa ter, rinse thor oughly with wa ter and
al low to dry.
Or
•
Clean with a non-flam ma ble sol vent and al low to dry.
Clean ing the pa per el e ment:
•
Tap the pa per el e ment lightly against a hard sur face to re -
move stub born dirt.
Or
•
Blow out with com pressed air (
max. 2 bar / 29 psi
) from the
clean side fac ing to wards the en gine.
•
Re move dirt on the fil ter cover and hous ing with a most cloth
en sur ing that no dirt is able to en ter the air cham ber to the car -
bu ret tor.
•
In sert fil ter ele ments , fit co ver (2) and tighten screws (1).
•
Mount co ve ring (1).

ing the fil

ment, do not use any
flam ma ble or ag gres sive ma te ri als.
•
In the work area, do not smoke, and pre
vent
open flames or sparks.
Re place the fil ter el e ment:
•
when the fil ter el e ment is dam aged
•
if there is wet or oily con tam i na tion
•
if mo tor per for mance suf fers
•
at least once a year
Do not al low dirt into the air chan nel and car bu ret tor.
Never run the mo tor with out an air fil ter.
When clea ning the ma chi ne with a pres su re was her,
do not hold it di rect ly over the air fil ter or pre-se pa ra tor.
