Keypad selection X has been
depressed more than 2 minutes.
Clear any obstructions or dirt from around the keypad
number in question (’X’) and make sure it can
properly detect your finger’s pressure. Disconnect the
Vagabond Interceptor and connect the keypad
directly to the VMC -if proper operation is restored,
replace the Interceptor.
SENSIT
BLOCKED
NONE
The vend sensor was blocked at the
start of a vend cycle. Even if the
blockage has been removed, the
message will persist until cleared.
Check for and remove any obstructions from the path
of the Sensit system. Be sure to check that the clear
lens is not clouded or covered with any foreign
substance.
SENSIT
DISCONNECTED
NONE
The vend sensor is disconnected.
Check all sensor harness connections.
HOME ERROR
NONE
Motor switch problem.
Check for correct motor type. Check for proper
connections. Check for correct motor set-up.

CHANGER
The VMC has received a message that should have been generated by a coin changer. If you see this error,
either the VMC came from another machine that did have a coin changer (just clear the error message) or
the Vagabond Insight is sending improper MDB messages. Press 1 to see changer sub-level error codes.

Communications error.
Check MDB harness connections.
SENSOR
SENSOR – Sensor error.
Consult changer manual or manufacturer.
JAM TUBE
JAMMED TUBE – Jammed coin tube. Clear any obstructions from the coin tube.

CHECK SUM – Check sum error.
Consult changer manual or manufacturer.
CHUTE
CHUTE – No coins accepted for a
period of time.
Clear any obstructions from the coin chute.
BILL
VALIDATOR
The VMC has received a message that should have been generated by a bill validator. If you see this error,
either the VMC came from another machine that did have a bill validator (just clear the error message) or
the Vagabond Insight is sending improper MDB messages. Press 1 to see validator sub-level error codes.

COMMUNICATIONS –
Communications error.
Check MDB harness connections.
STK FULL
STACKER FULL – Stacker is full.
Empty stacker.
MOTOR
MOTOR – Bad stacker motor.
Consult acceptor manual or manufacturer for repair.

Clear any jammed bills from the acceptor.

CHECK SUM – Check sum error.
