MTU:
Maximum Transmission Unit. It is the size of the largest data packet that can be sent
over the network. The default value is 1500.
The common MTU sizes and applications are listed in the table below.

Note
A wrong/improper MTU value may cause Internet communication problems. For example, you
may be unable to access certain websites, frames within websites, secure login pages, or
FTP or POP servers.
Do not modify it unless necessary, but if a specific website or web application software cannot
open or be enabled, you can try to change the MTU value to 1500, 1400.
