Working With Playlists
Select
Playlist
from the Main MAX page to display the three types of Playlist types (
Audio, Video
, and
Mixed
) supported by MAX (FIG. 28):
Audio
: Contains audio items only, including entire CDs or individual tracks.
Video
: Contains video items only, including entire DVDs, individual DVD chapters, and
Bookmarks.
Mixed
: Includes both video and audio elements.
You can create as many Playlists as you like, and there is no limit to the number of items that can have in
each Playlist.
The process of creating and editing Playlists is identical for the three different types of Playlists. The
only difference between Audio and Video Playlists is in locating and selecting the items that you want to
add to your Playlists. Again, Mixed Playlists simply contain both audio and video items.
For the purposes of showing how to create and manage Playlists, we will use Audio Playlists as an
example in the following subsections.
Alternatively, you can highlight an individual track in the Track list and press SELECT
to begin playback of the CD, starting with the selected track.
