To engage:
The attendant must pull the footrest
upward, rotate forward until it locks into place
and then flip the footplate down. Repeat on the
other side.

To swing away:
The attendant must pull the
footrest upward, rotate toward the outside and
flip the footplate up. Repeat on the other side.

To engage:
The attendant must pull the armrest
up from underneath until a click is heard.

To clear away:
The attendant must press
release tab and push the armrest down.

14. SLOW-DOWN BRAKES ADJUSTMENT

For a user with an uncontrolled gait, it is
possible to slow the wheels down with the
slow-down brake system.
To adjust the tension, turn the black knob
clockwise to tighten (slower) or turn counter
clockwise to loosen (faster) the tension.
Perform this adjustment on both sides.
Slow-down brakes might need to be adjusted a
few times on either side to obtain equal tension.
