Data Over Cable Service Interface Specification
[http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DOCSIS]
is an
international telecommunications standard that permits the addition of high-speed data transfer
to an existing cable TV (CATV) system. It is employed by many cable television operators to
provide data access over their existing infrastructure. It has many specification, certification, and
testing criteria. Below are example ACLR and spur measurements for this card with the AD9739A
running at 2.5GHz with carrier(s) centered at 980MHz.
Adjacent Channel Leakage Ratio (ACLR) is the ratio of the reconstructed signal power to the
power measured in an adjacent channel measured in dB. This is critical in many applications, and
can be used to determine the performance of the subsystem in many applications, including
DOCSIS.
