Trigger Panel Field Descriptions
Trigger Source
Pull down menu. Default is “Internal (SW Trig.)”. Other menu items are
“Front Panel Ch. 1”, “Front Panel Ch. 2”, “TTLTRG-0”, “TTLTRG-0”,
“TTLTRG-1”, “TTLTRG-2”, “TTLTRG-3”, “TTLTRG-4”, “TTLTRG-5”,
“TTLTRG-6”, “TTLTRG-7”, “ECLTRG-0” and “ECLTRG-1”.
Trigger Mode
Pull down menu. Default is “Rising Edge”. Other menu items are “Falling
Edge”, “Gated Active Hi” and “Gated Active Lo”. The “Trigger Mode”
control for I/O-2 will be grayed out if the user has selected “Front Panel
Ch. 1” or “Front Panel Ch. 2” for both I/O-1 and I/O-2. (Only one mode
setting can be used for a given trigger input.)
Threshold
Bipolar (+ & -), scrolling control with a resolution of X.X Volts. The
threshold control for I/O-2 will be grayed out if the user has selected
“Front Panel Ch. 1” or “Front Panel Ch. 2” for both I/O-1 and I/O-2. (Only
one threshold setting can be used for a given trigger input.)
Apply
Any user changes on the soft panel will not take effect until the “Apply”
button is pushed. Upon pushing apply, it must be checked and verified
that the TTLTRG or ECLTRG line that is selected on this panel, is not
already selected elsewhere. If already selected elsewhere, a message
will appear saying; “The TTLTRG or ECLTRG line you selected is
already in use. Please select another line or change the selection
previously made.”
