Log Loader and Forestry Trailer – Operator's Manual

3 Hitching
The various log loader models are specially designed for use with medium- and high-power tractors
with two dual effect hydraulic control systems.
The M-90 log loader can also be hitched to an ATV. A hydraulic power unit at the front of the
machine controls the log loader. See "Hitching to an ATV" on page 27.
Use extreme caution when hitching and unhitching
the equipment.
Before
proceeding,
securely
immobilize
the
equipment with the devices provided.
Before attaching the log loader to the tractor or
ATV, ensure that the trailer is parallel to the
ground. If the trailer is not parallel to the ground,
it will not operate optimally and may be seriously
damaged during operation.
Before moving or operating the machine, ensure
that it is hitched properly to the tractor or ATV, the
safety chains are fastened securely, and the
locking pin cannot fall out of the tractor drawbar.
If hitching is not done properly, the machine may
unhook during transport or use. This could injure
the operator or other people, or damage the
tractor, ATV, or machine.
