3.3 Connecting the hydraulic system
The hydraulic hoses that connect to the tractor are identified as follows:

1. Connect the hydraulic hoses to the tractor.
If the connections are reversed, the hydraulic
control functions will also be reversed.
This could cause an accident!
Relieve the pressure in the tractor's hydraulic
system and ensure that the couplings are clean
before connecting them. Dirt will contaminate the
tractor's hydraulic oil.
The recommended oil flow is 22.7–45.4 Lpm (6–12
US gpm).
2. Ensure that the hoses will not get tangled or stuck between the tractor and loader, causing
premature wear and tear.
3. Test the hydraulic controls one by one to check that the hoses are connected properly. To
learn about the control functions, see "Controls" on page 43.
4. Adjust the hydraulic flow of the control valves if needed.
The log loader is now ready to load and transport logs.
